I have to admit, i wasn’t very faithful to my blog last year, but as part of my New Years Resolutions, i’ve decided to start afresh.
I would like to start by saying Happy New Year to everyone. I hope that 2009 brings you joy. I’m sure that 2008 was an amazing year for most, but i’m sure this year is going to be better.
As many of you know, i’ve moved back to England (well actually at the end of last year). I have now found a lovely house here, and our air and sea freight arrived on Boxing Day. I’m glad that we have out things here, it makes it seem more homely. My house isn’t anything like it was in Brazil, but it is nice and cozy. It has three bedrooms, one bathroom, a lounge room, a kitchen, a garage, and a room that is a the bottom of our garden. My sister and I deided to use this room as a “chill out room”. It has two sofas, a bed, a beanbag, and a T.V. We thought that it would be easier if our friends stayed, so we wouldnt wake up my mum. Enough about the house.
Before i moved to Brazil, we had two cats (one of which went to Brazil with us, the other wasnt allowed to come). The one we had in Brazil would have to stay in quarintine for six months, so we figured it was a bit unfair on her. We decided to leave her with one of our friends. I’m sure she will be okay since they are a cat-loving family. We were able to get our other cat back from my Grandfather about a week ago. The last time i saw her she was a little kitten, now she is huge. I’m glad that we have an animal in the house. My dog has stayed in Brazil with my Stepfather, so that has been pretty hard.
I returned to school yesterday (after the christmas vacation), i found it so hard to wake up in the morning since i had been having a rather long lay in. Overall it is going great! The teachers have been really nice since i started in November, so have the other students. I have had a lot of work to catch up on since i missed a month while i was in Brazil, but i have almost got on top of it.
I am really annoyed that i can’t watch ASAL2 (A Shot At Love 2), because i’m not in the America. This means i also can’t watch The Hills. This may not mean anything to you, but to me my life at home is OVER! I have to wait about an extra two month for the UK to catch up on where America is. It is quite depressing.
Overall i am glad to be back in England, but my heart is longing to be with my friends in Brazil. I am hoping to be coming to visit in Easter, or my Summer holidays ( around July).
Iwill keep you updated on any news.
